    The ambiance wasn't the best. It was a cross between a date night/sports bar. It felt like they were trying to go for a romantic vibe but then had the tvs on at the bar area. The calamari were not breaded or fried enough (this was the only bad review I have and why I gave it 4/5 stars). I usually don't like spaghetti but this one was very flavorful and a bit spicy. The filet was good but the highlight was the sausage truffle pasta and the beef carpaccio arugula salad. The panna cotta was also pretty good and they gave us a free cannoli for a birthday. The waiter was very friendly and welcoming.

    They have the best cocktail bartender you could ever find in Santa Clarita! Yesterday, we tried the Paper Plane cocktail, and it was absolutely delicious. Their food is top-notch, and the ambiance of the place is fantastic.

    We have been to piccolo osteria a few times with the family and they do not disappoint. The restaurant is very open and friendly. We were greeted warming with a reservation and seated right away. From the appetizer,salads, pizza and pasta and deserts we were over the top happy. Everything was delicious.

    I cannot say enough about this fantastic restaurant! I often visit with friends and family for special occasions. The environment is perfect for an intimate evening;. However, PICCOLA OSTERIA just as easily lends itself as a comfortable venue to leisurely catch up with loved ones. The ambiance helps to turn a simple get together into a special dining experience. The food quality is excellent, well portioned, and consistently impressive. I will typically have the Branzino; which is deliciously prepared! The pasta - in particular, the Lasangna and the Linguini Vongole - are fantastic! And, the deserts are indulgent without being overly heavy. I can resolutely say that I have never experienced a meal at Piccola Osteria that failed to live up to the high level of quality I've come to enjoy. The wine selection is well curated. The full bar is amply stocked. And the bartenders are impressively knowledgeable; I was able to order a passion fruit cocktail that, while popular in Europe, I had not been able to enjoy since coming back from northern Europe. All these attributes make for a great evening. But, what truly creates a phenomenal dining experience is the staff. One server who stood out in particular was a gentleman by the name of Hunter. My party had the pleasure of being attended to by Hunter during a recent visit. He was generously attentive without ever making us feel rushed. Hunter was accommodating, gracious, and charming. My party had a great evening thanks to Hunter and his team!! Each member of staff I have interacted with has been lovely! And, you can see the patrons respond positively to these interactions. The team at Piccola Osteria work very hard to provide a fun and memorable evening! It is definitely a restaurant worth enjoying thanks to great food and even greater people. cheers!
